Custom carbon wheelset configuration reference

Rim fit

wheel size, tire system, depth, width, and brake interface

Start with your bicycle, tires, riding use, and brake type.

Build parts

hub, axle, freehub, spoke, nipple, and rider requirements

Compatibility is confirmed in the written configuration summary.

Artwork and placement require written approval before production.

Quote logistics

quantity, destination, shipping method, lead time, and duties

The final written quote controls price, timing, and responsibilities.

Define the rim and brake interface

Start with the bicycle and tire system. Rim dimensions and brake interface affect compatibility, handling, aerodynamics, comfort, and the quoted build.

  • Confirm wheel diameter and intended road, gravel, or mountain use.
  • Choose clincher, tubeless-ready, tubular, or another required tire system.
  • State preferred rim depth and internal and external width.
  • Confirm disc or rim brake interface and any critical frame clearance.

Match the hub, freehub, and spokes

Hub and spoke choices must match the bicycle, drivetrain, brake system, rider, and intended load. Brand or model requests remain subject to availability.

  • Provide front and rear axle dimensions and the brake mounting standard.
  • Specify Shimano HG, Microspline, SRAM XDR, Campagnolo, or another cassette body.
  • Choose spoke type and count based on use, rider system weight, and service priorities.
  • Confirm requested bearings, hub color, nipples, and spare parts in writing.

Specify finish, logo, and quantity

Visual customization needs an approved proof and a clear quantity. The planning draft allows an MOQ of one wheelset, subject to the final quote.

  • Choose matte, gloss, painted, or another available rim finish.
  • Provide logo artwork only when you have permission to use it.
  • Approve decal color, size, placement, and proof before production.
  • State wheelset quantity and whether individual packaging is required.

Review the quote before production

Website prices, weights, MOQ, and timing are planning estimates. The written configuration and quote must control the final build and commercial terms.

  • Confirm configuration, quantity, currency, price, and payment schedule.
  • Confirm the product-specific production estimate, currently drafted between 15 and 40 days across the catalog.
  • Confirm tracked shipping, destination, transit estimate, and packaging.
  • Confirm duties, taxes, warranty, crash replacement, returns, and responsible parties.

Build your quote from compatibility outward

Work through the bicycle, rim, hub, spoke, finish, quantity, and destination details. The final written configuration is the reference for production, not a website estimate.

1

Describe the bicycle and riding use

Share the wheel size, tire range, terrain, rider system weight, and priorities such as climbing, aerodynamics, durability, or serviceability.

2

Choose rim type, depth, and width

Specify the tire system, preferred depth, internal width, external width, and any frame or tire clearance limits.

3

Confirm the brake interface

State whether the build is for disc or rim brakes and provide the relevant rotor mount, brake track, or other compatibility details.

4

Select hub and freehub details

Provide axle standards, brake mounting, requested hub, spoke count, and the cassette or drivetrain standard.

5

Select spokes, finish, and logo

Choose the requested spokes, nipples, rim finish, decal color, and logo treatment. Logo artwork requires permission and written proof approval.

6

Provide quantity and destination

State the wheelset quantity, delivery country and postal code, packaging needs, and preferred shipping speed so freight can be reviewed.

7

Approve the written configuration and quote

Check every component, estimate, price, payment step, shipping term, duty or tax responsibility, warranty, crash replacement, and return condition before approval.

8

Follow production and tracked shipping

Production begins only under the written terms. Current product-specific drafts range from 15 to 40 days, followed by the confirmed tracked shipping method.

Custom Wheelset FAQ

Practical answers about configuration, estimates, written confirmation, production, shipping, warranty, and returns.

How does a custom wheelset quote work?

Choose a reference wheelset and share the required configuration, quantity, and destination. We then review compatibility and provide a written quote. Website figures are planning estimates until confirmed in writing.

What information should I include?

Include riding use, wheel size, tire type, rim depth and width, brake type, axle standards, freehub body, preferred hub and spokes, finish, logo request, quantity, and destination.

What is the minimum order quantity?

The current planning draft uses an MOQ of one wheelset. Availability and any quantity pricing are confirmed in the final written quote.

Is the listed wheelset weight final?

No. Listed weights are estimates for a reference configuration. Rim depth, width, hub, spokes, freehub, finish, and normal production tolerances can change the final weight.

How long does production take?

Current catalog drafts range from 15 to 40 days after the configuration and required payment step are confirmed in writing, depending on the build. The final quote sets the applicable schedule.

Can I choose the hub and freehub body?

Yes, subject to compatibility and availability. Share the axle standards, spoke count, brake interface, and cassette standard so the written quote can confirm the exact hub and freehub.

Can I add a custom logo?

Logo customization can be requested. Artwork, color, placement, proof approval, rights to use the artwork, cost, and any quantity requirement must be confirmed in writing.

Can I request disc brake or rim brake wheels?

Reference builds may support different brake interfaces. Specify the exact bicycle and brake requirement, and do not treat a disc or rim brake option as confirmed until it appears in the written configuration.

Are all rims tubeless compatible?

No universal assumption should be made. Confirm clincher, tubeless-ready, tubular, or other tire system requirements for the specific quoted rim.

When is shipping cost confirmed?

Shipping cost and available methods depend on quantity, package size, destination, and current carrier service. They are confirmed in the written quote, not by a website estimate.

Who pays import duties and taxes?

Responsibility depends on the quoted shipping terms and destination. The written quote must state what is included. Do not assume duties, taxes, brokerage, or local fees are prepaid.

Can a made-to-order wheelset be returned?

Return eligibility is not automatic for a custom build. The final written terms must define approved returns, defects, shipping damage, cancellation, and any return shipping responsibility. Never send a wheelset back without written instructions.

What warranty is included?

Warranty scope, term, exclusions, evidence requirements, remedy, shipping responsibility, and responsible party are confirmed in the final written terms. Website summaries are not a binding warranty.

Is crash replacement available?

A crash replacement option may be quoted, but coverage, eligibility, discount, shipping, and duration are not confirmed until included in the written terms.

Should I pay before receiving a written quote?

No. Review the written configuration, price, lead time, shipping terms, and payment instructions first. Use only the payment method stated on the verified quote or invoice.

Can I change the configuration after approval?

Request changes as early as possible. Feasibility, added cost, schedule impact, or cancellation treatment depends on production status and must be confirmed in writing.
